There And Back Again

Well, for the first time since moving to England,
I've gone to visit Chicago. The first reason was
to say goodbye to a dearly departed extended family
member. The second was to visit with children, friends
and grandchildren.

I will make a start on this post today, and add to it as
I have time.

I am not going to allow what happened to my comments board on ArtistLaunch to happen here. Having noticed a new preponderence of SPAM comments, I have initiated the word verification option.

After all if one can SPAM a newsgroup or message board using 'bots', why not a blog?
I would advise all my visitors who have blogs of their own to do the same. Real people will leave real comments. A bot will only leave SPAM.

Travel Halted At Most Inconvenient Time

Death in family; wedding in family close on its heels. Heathrow Airport in a tangle due to service worker's strike, and on top of that, I am broke as sin! Trying to get new two-pronged business off the ground...wish Me luck!

I am having a networking problem atm. Till that is fixed, Sire and I are fighting over one internet connection on one machine. And this with My just having won a lease on a web server! Am going to try hosting in my own right...not too many sites as the server is only 20GB with a 400GB bandwidth limit. Wish me luck and all My current readers will do well to watch this blog for the activation announcement if any are in need of small site cheap hosting.

Sites right now are suggested to be in the 5-100MB range with variable pricing according to disk space need.

One Week Later....

We are finally past both hubby's jet-lag, and my ecstacy at being with Him again....

Now we can seriously begin the business of getting me ready to leave the US and take up My new life in the United Kingdom. I am placing My sites and sound outlets on autodrive for the moment, as I have also decided to take a long break from doing hypnosis in order to get settled.
